No bookings are accepted unless the names of the occupants of the rooms are forwarded, together with a non-refundable 20% deposit, which will be credited against the account. For some rates the hotel may require full payment in advance. Where bookings are made through the online system a 20% deposit will be taken from your credit card and an email confirmation generated. If you wish to pay the balance of your account by cheque it must be presented 4 working days before departure. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex & Diners Club credit cards.

No allowance is made if rooms are not occupied for the full period of the booking. Due to Covid 19 Check-in time is now from 4.00p.m. Rooms must be vacated by 10a.m. on the day of departure, otherwise an additional charge will be made. Rooms are currently NOT SERVICED during your stay. Cancellations must be received in writing and if received more than one calendar month before arrival only the deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations received less than 48 hours before arrival, unless the accommodation is fully re-let 100% will be charged depending on the terms booked. Holiday insurance is recommended. For conferences and groups separate terms and conditions will apply.

The Management reserve the right to decline and/or accept bookings if, in their opinion, such a course is necessary or desirable. We do not accept rugby or football teams or Stag/Hen parties or similar groups likely to cause a nuisance to other guests. We reserve the right to cancel any group or individual reservations that we believe to be of such nature. We reserve the right to recover from the guest any discretionary compensation payment, or discount, that we may have to pay to any other guests, as a result of bad behaviour or damage caused by you or a member of your party.

Smoking is not allowed in any part of the hotel, including all the bedrooms. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge of £200 per room. If the next guest refuses to accept the room, you will be liable for the costs of the replacement accommodation.

Up to two children aged 15 or under, sharing a standard room with 2 adults stay free, depending on the availability of large rooms. Any meals taken will be charged at the normal rate (including breakfast), unless they are 10 years old or under where they can request to have half portions at half price.

By prior arrangement, it is possible to provide special diets required by reason of health or religion. The hotel is fully licensed and a corkage charge will be made to visitors introducing quantities of their own wines and spirits.

There is parking for 100 cars. Cars are parked at owners’ risk.

If a dog accompanies the occupants of a room it will not be permitted in the public rooms. A charge of £12 daily is made.

The Management will not be responsible for loss sustained to jewellery or any other article of value through fire, theft, or otherwise, unless deposited at the Reception Office, and an official receipt obtained.

We make no service charges and gratuities are left to the discretion of our hotel guests.
